Game On for Math: Strategies for Boosting Engagement Creating this proposal for a technology plan has been a learning experience, driven by a genuine concern for low student engagement in my 7th-grade math classes. As an educator in the CPS system, I've witnessed the limitations of traditional teaching methods and existing online platforms in maintaining student interest. The realization that students were disengaging even with the introduction of Freckle by Renaissance prompted me to explore alternative approaches, leading me to the integration of games and gamification techniques. The process of crafting this proposal involved research and collaboration.
